Dr. Huver is one of our most versatile and popular instructors and a true professor. He loves the outdoors and loves working with youth. He is an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He has been teaching courses with the College of Wilderness Knowledge for over 5 years and always gets lots of positive comments.
Although he is a university professor, he has a knack for bringing science down to an understandable level for youth. Dr. Huver brings many of his own materials and also makes use of the resources in the area such as the interpretive center and staff at Kathio State Park. He has a lot of stories to embellish his instruction and his passion for his subject always shows through. Besides teaching science, he has a love of fishing, so you may catch him on the water.
