Service Projects for Groups camping at Birch Bend Campground

The following are all possible service projects while your group is in camp. Please see the camp host to identify the project for your weekend and to obtain tools and materials.

1. Fill low areas in driveways and trails with gravel
2. Rebuild or repair fire rings in group campsites
3. Wood – replenish wood supplies in group sites
4. Wood – cut & split wood so that it dries faster
5. Clear, clean, and level tent pads in group areas
6. Clear trails – remove downed wood
7. Clear trails – cut back weeds and brush
8. Create new trails – clear and mark
9. Stain picnic tables
10. Paint outhouses and other buildings
11. Repair and/or replace bridges
