Matt is a father of four who has always enjoyed technology, the outdoors, and “giving back”. Having been involved in Scouting since being a Cub Scout in the 1960s, Matt has been a Scoutmaster twice, Quartermaster, OA Rep., held multiple BSA District Chair positions and is a counselor for 13 merit badges and NOVA STEM mentor. He volunteers over 600 hours a year with Scouting, Special Olympics, Serenity of Marian Senior Care Center, and any other opportunities that arise. Professionally Matt manages an Advanced Research and Analytics IT Architecture Team that focuses on big data, AI, machine / deep learning, predictive analysis, and CPU/GPU servers for United Healthcare. Bottom line is that Matt loves traveling to see his children when possible and finds that there is no better time than camping… just being in the outdoors and sharing his knowledge with anyone who will listen.
